The Heritage/LPS High School Gymnastics Team is a fall sport made up of students from Arapahoe, Littleton, and Heritage High Schools. For the 20-21 school year it is competing in CHSAA Season C.
About High School Gymnastics:
We will have between 4-6 regular season meets along with JV and Varsity Leagues. We also attend Regionals and State. Teams compete 6 Varsity gymnasts per event and 3-6 JV gymnasts. HHS competes Varsity and JV gymnasts. High School Gymnastics is judged using the NFHS rules and scoring.
Practices- Wednesdays and Thursdays 7-9pm; and Saturday 10-12
Andrea Miesen, Jocelyn Wetherington and Holly Nichols!
Head Coach Andrea is a Colorado native who grew up doing gymnastics, dance, and cheer. This will be her third year as the Head Coach of the Heritage High School Gymnastics team. She is also the Head Coach for South Suburban Sparks Gymnastics, and she has been coaching gymnastics for 19 years now. She still enjoys competing and is a three-time Miss Fitness Colorado champion. She teaches 1st grade in Littleton. She is passionate about teaching and helping children and teens.
Assistant Coach Jocelyn is a Colorado native who has always been active. In her youth, Jocelyn participated in club gymnastics and cheer. She competed High School gymnastics all four years. These sports led Jocelyn to her new passion of aerial dance and circus arts. She competes regularly around the US and has placed at national competitions. Jocelyn's greatest accomplishments is earning a BA in Mathematics and a Colorado Teaching Certificate. She is very passionate about teaching and helping others achieve their goals.
