The Heritage Gymnastics Team is a fall sport made up of students from Arapahoe, Littleton, and Heritage High Schools.
About High School Gymnastics:
We will have between 6-8 regular season meets along with JV and Varsity Leagues. We also attend Regionals and State. Teams compete 6 Varsity gymnasts per event and 3-6 JV gymnasts. Heritage competes Varsity and JV gymnasts. High School Gymnastics is judged using the NFHS rules and scoring.

2024 Gymnastics Interest Clinic: Friday, May 3rd @ Active Athletics 6:00-8:00pm. All interested freshmen and new high school gymnasts grade 9-12 welcome!
2024 Pre Season Camp: We are excited to hold 2 summer camps this year! Camps are optional, but highly encouraged for tryouts in the fall. Please sign up for one or both camps. Camps will be held at Active Athletics (8175 S. Grant Way, Littleton, 80122)
Tryouts will be held in early August.
If your gymnast can attend one or both camps, you can pay by check, cash, Zelle or PayPal (Heritage HS Gymnastics)

Coaches
Head Coach-Andrea Schmidt
Andrea Schmidt, Jocelyn Wetherington, and Holly Nichols!
Head Coach Andrea is a Colorado native who grew up doing gymnastics, dance, and cheer. She has been the Head Coach of the Heritage High School Gymnastics team since 2018. She is also the Head Coach for South Suburban Sparks Gymnastics, and she has been coaching gymnastics over 20 years now. She still enjoys competing and is a three-time Miss Fitness Colorado champion. She teaches 1st grade in Littleton. She is passionate about teaching and helping children and teens.
Assistant Coach Jocelyn is a Colorado native who has always been active. In her youth, Jocelyn participated in club gymnastics and cheer. She competed in High School gymnastics all four years. These sports led Jocelyn to her new passion of aerial dance and circus arts. She competes regularly around the US and has placed at national competitions. Jocelyn has a BA in Mathematics and a Colorado Teaching Certificate and coaches at Active Athletics. She is very passionate about teaching and helping others achieve their goals.
Assistant Coach Holly was a competitive gymnast through the USAG program in California and switched over to coaching through high school and college. After graduating from Santa Clara University with a degree in psychology, she began coaching and training extensively in Taekwondo, Muay-Thai, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and Jeet-Kune-Do. She is passionate about the mental aspects of competition and gymnastics and holds a master's degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. Currently, she works with K-2 special education students in LPS and coaches for Sparks Gymnastics.
